                 Dreaming of an Alaska Hunting Adventure?

      With Kichatna Guide Service it's all about the Adventure

Don Kann is the owner and guide for Kichatna Guide Service. He has been guiding in Alaska since 1984. His 28 years of experience guiding throughout a large portion of Alaska's vast wilderness gives his clients a distinct advantage.

He is currently guiding in the Alaska Range, in Units 16 and 19. There are several small
cabins spread throughout the the state land in Unit 16 that are used in conjunction with tent spike camps.The cabins are nothing fancy, but have wood stoves for drying gear and people! The hunts in Unit 19 are out of tent camps only. 

                             Trophy Bear Hunts

 You will hunt Trophy Brown Bears in Unit 16. In the fall we will hunt along Salmon streams and berry patches as the bears fatten up for the coming winter. We use a jet boat, but you can expect to walk a good bit also. 

            

                                    In the spring we glass for bears coming out of their dens.
                  We use  snow machines for getting around, but you will also need snow shoes.

                                 
                                                                       

                       In Unit 19 there are some nice colorations of the interior Grizzlies.

                             Trophy Sheep Hunts

    Sheep hunting generally requires a lot of hiking, none of it on flat ground, so be prepared.


                                      

   Although physically demanding this is also a very rewarding hunt. These Trophy Sheep
live in some of the most scenic and beautiful terrain Alaska has to offer, so be sure and bring your camera as well.

                             Trophy Moose Hunts

  We hunt these Massive Bulls on the North side of the range and this last year we saw plenty of nice wide rack over 60" with nice brows.


                                        

        These majestic animals are a great hunt and offer plenty of adventure and excitement. 

You can also add an interior Grizzly, Black Bear or Caribou to this hunt for an additional fee.
