We offer combination trophy whitetail deer hunts, mule deer hunts, moose hunts, elk hunts and black bear hunts in some of the prime hunting areas of Alberta. Moose Hunting Rut Moose Hunts: Our rut moose hunts run during the last week of September through the first two weeks of October. The rut hunt we do lots of calling to bring the bulls in. The weather is usually mild this time of year. The larger bulls are usually taken on this hunt averaging from 40-50 inches. We take a minimum number of hunters per season during this time to keep success rates very high. We are confident that you will have an opportunity at a bull because of the areas we hunt and the way our hunts are set up.

         

Late Season Moose Hunts: The late season hunt runs in November after the rut. The bulls are generally grouping back together at this time and we spend a lot of time covering miles of country to find where the bulls are feeding post rut. Once located we will move in for the stalk. Weather on this hunt can vary greatly from quite warm to extreme cold depending on the year. Bulls on this hunt average from 35-45 inches. We only take a limited number of hunters on this hunt as well. Historically we have had very high success on this hunt.

Whitetail Deer Hunting: Our whitetail deer hunts take place during the peak of the rut in November. This is a very exciting hunt as the deer are very active. We use only top quality equipment and heated blinds to make you as comfortable as possible to maximize your time in the field and your chance for success. You will have an excellent shot opportunity at 150 to 160 class deer with larger deer being possible to the patient hunter.

         
 
On our whitetail deer hunts we concentrate our hunting efforts by setting up stands and blinds overlooking pre-scouted crossing areas, scrape lines and food sources. To be successful, hunters need to be patient and trust their guide.

Alberta Black Bear Hunting: Our spring bear hunts take place from the last week of April to the first week of June in Northern Alberta. We accommodate both the rifle hunter and the bowhunter, each having an excellent opportunity to harvest a trophy black bear, or two! We have a 2 bear limit and we are regularly harvesting at 100% opportunity on the first bear and 80% on the second. We also have many color phased bears in our area, ranging from blonde, cinnamon, brown to black. Bears average 5-6 ft with 7 plus feet being possible.

We hunt by spot and stalk with some baited locations as well. The last number of years we have been harvesting our largest bears using the spot and stalk methods in remote areas with high bear populations.

Elk Hunting: This hunt takes place in the Northern reaches of the Rocky Mountain foothills on the fringes of agricultural areas during the post rut period. This area requires bulls of 3 points or larger be taken. Elk are generally in herds this time of year giving hunters a unique chance to look over several bulls before deciding which one to take. These hunts are on a limited basis and are for 6 days. (additional days can be added)

Mule Deer Hunting: This hunt takes place in the foothills of the rocky mountains in the heart of the mule deer rut. Expect to look over plenty of mule deer on this hunt as they are very mobile this time of year. This is a 6 day hunt (additional days can be added). This is a great opportunity at harvesting a great buck for a reasonable cost.

Waterfowl Hunting: We offer 3 day and 6 day goose & duck hunts during the last 2 weeks of September through the end of October. Our waterfowl hunts offer the hunter ample shoots and high bag limits on geese and ducks. During our goose hunts we typically set up on fields where the goose have been feeding. We will arrive well before sunrise to set up our spread of decoys and blinds. We use state-of the-art equipment, a wide variety of blinds, along with full body decoys, and silhouette decoys all of which will help to ensure that the spread area is ideal for the hunt. We will then get into position and wait for the birds to start dropping in. We will stay in position until mid-morning or if we have filled our limit we will head in for lunch.
 
Early afternoon we will head out again to fill our daily quota of geese or if already full we will head to one of the many pothole lakes or marshes and set up for a shoot of the large ducks that we have coming through. The duck hunts will be set up in blinds or on boats depending on the location.

Whether it is the large Canadian Geese or the fast flying Mallards that will give any hunter a challenge, we have the hunt for you. You may also have a chance to harvest one or more speckle belly geese, snow geese or pintail ducks.
