My name is Keith Hartman, and I am the owner and operator of Adventures West Recreation (AWR). I am your Fulltime Professional Hunting Consultant with over 25 years experience in the hunting industry. My personal and company reputation within the hunting industry is second to none. I just don't book hunts for my outfitters, I Hunt With Them! You will find my specialties are western big game, Alaskan and Canadian big game, and African big game. I cater to the average working class hunter who works hard for their money, and want to experience a quality high hunt at an affordable price. I also have hunts for the true trophy hunter. These hunts are more expensive, and can provide you with a hunt of a lifetime.

  Elk Hunting Colorado Colorado Mule Deer Hunting 
Mule Deer Hunting: Mule Deer are hunted on several of the best private ranches in many different locations in Colorado. We contract with some of the best outfitters in Colorado because they are best at what they do, kill mule deer. These outfitters have managed their private leases for many years with limited hunting pressure to insure that hunters will have a Quality Recreation Experience. Colorado terrain can vary from from agricultural fields, rolling hills, high desert and high elevation timbered canyons. Tags for these regions are on a lottery draw, and for those that do not draw we have access to Landowner Vouchers, which will guarantee a hunter a deer tag! We can provided hunters with either a high success mule deer hunt for a good representative animals or a true trophy class late season rut hunt. The rifle mule deer season will start in late October and run into November in some locations. These hunts are limited in number. Our deer hunts range in price from $2995-$5500 plus the state tag and license. We can tailor a hunt to just about any budget!

Elk Hunting: Elk are hunted on private land in several of the best locations throughout the state. Adventures West Recreation books high success and trophy class hunts for Rocky Mountain Elk in these areas. Our standard elk hunts produce about 50-80% success yearly on raghorns to 280" bulls. These rifle hunts take place in September, October, and November. Several of our ranches have good resident populations of elk that number in the hundreds so there is no need to wait for the fall migration of these animals. These hunts can produce a very fun hunt with lots of game seen. If you are looking for Trophy Class Fair Chase Bulls bulls we have them! These trophy bull hunts can produce bulls in the 320-380" class on a regular basis. Adventures West Recreation has some of the most affordable elk hunts available in this great state starting at $3995-$8,500 plus the state tags and license. We can almost guarantee that all of our hunters will receive an elk tag!

                   Colorado Antelope Hunting Outfitters

Antelope Hunting: Antelope are hunted on private land in several of the best locations throughout the state. These hunts are limited in number and can produce trophy class animals. 2010 produced two Colorado antelope for Adventures West Recreation clients that gross scored 84" and 86".  Our rifle antelope hunts start at $1995 plus tag and a voucher if needed.
