Our hunting range is in a challenging mountainous setting of mixed sagebrush and pine forest. The area has been recognized by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game to have one of the highest elk bull to cow ratios in the state and the area has bragging rights for some of the largest bulls taken in the state!

We take a very limited number of hunters each year to insure a quality, personalized experience and because of this, our hunts book quickly. Owner Matt Hoffman takes a lot of pride in customer satisfaction and will guide you to the hunt of your dreams

                      Elk Hunting in Idaho

Our base of operations is near the town of Challis, Idaho. Our base camp features roomy heated wall tents with padded cots. We bring breakfast to your warm tent in the morning and lunch is eaten in the field. Evenings include a freshly prepared dinner unsurpassed in any other hunting camp.

Elk Hunting: Idaho is renowned for it's tremendous Elk populations and our unit is known to produce some of the largest Trophy Elk in the state! We have a rich supply of mature bulls and our area is listed by the Idaho Fish & Game as having one of the highest bull to cow ratio’s in the state.

Our area has dense timber pockets surrounded by open sage brush country which allowes us excellent visibility. These heart pounding Trophy Elk Hunts are unlike anything you will experience!

Mule Deer Hunting: These exciting Trophy Mule Deer hunts are available in both a pack in drop camp setting or if you prefer we can arrange a "town" hunt with lodging in Challis.


                      Idaho Mule Deer Hunting.

At this time the mule deer hunt in our area is an unlimited controlled hunt and is for one week only, the last week of October. We have a great mule deer hunting area with large numbers of deer seen every day.

Black Bear Hunting: Spring in the mountains is an amazing time! Our Spring Bear Hunts offer sites and sounds that will be remembered for a lifetime. The weather is usually very nice and you should be able to see & photograph elk, deer, moose and other game.

                    Idaho Black Bear Hunting.                    
 Bears are very abundant in our area and have been managed very well. Black colored bears predominate, but we have a lot of color phase blondes, chocolates and cinnamons. We most often hunt over bait but our area has great visibility for spot and stalking also.

The large number of bears takes a lot of pressure off which allows for a more relaxing hunt. Our bear hunt dates usually fill up pretty quickly so book early to secure the date of your choice!

Mountain Lion Hunting: Mountain Lion are abundant in our hunting area. These are hunts that depend heavily on favorable weather conditions, but with good snow cover, success on past lion hunts has been excellent.

                      Idaho Mountain Lion Hunting.       

This is truly an adventure, hunting behind hounds, and enjoying the chase in a beautiful mountainous area. Be in shape for this one as terrain varies from moderate to very difficult and we will be on foot or snowshoes for the hunt. We will begin our lion hunting in December, and run these hunts through January. These hunts will be conducted out of a local motel in Challis, Idaho. Lunch will be provided, but all other meals and lodging are the resposibility of the hunter. All hunts are 7 days in length. Lion hunts will be booked for a specific date, unless other arrangements are made.
