Most of our hunts take place in Hardin County which is considered Illinois' first and final frontier. It is the smallest and least populated county in Illinois. This is the corner of Illinois that offers the road less traveled. Not only will you get a Great Whitetail Hunt with us but a backwoods adventure as well. Many hunters ask how we compare to the famous "Golden Triangle" of Illinois, and that answer is simple. When comparing Boone and Crockett kills by county one must take into consideration the land area of the county and the number of hunters per county. The famous "Golden Triangle" counties are some of the largest counties in Illinois, so yes they will be putting out more Boone and Crockett numbers than smaller Illinois counties. For some reason Illinois counties are much smaller in the southern part of the state. Our county of Hardin is 5X smaller than Pike County and has far less hunting pressure.

So don't be fooled by the Boone and Crockett numbers per county. It has already been proven that the true "Illinois Giants" come from all over the state, not just the "Golden Triangle". Most Illinois Outfitters offer several thousand acres of hunting land that is spread out over several counties, but what they don't tell you is ninety-percent of that land is flat, tillable, and basically non-huntable land. Our properties are much different with roughly 65% hardwood ridges and river bottoms, and the other 35% in agricultural fields, CRP, and high nutritional food plots. The hunting land consists mainly of OaK/Hickory hardwood ridges, low lying agricultural farmlands along the river, nasty river bottom thickets that hold Huge Whitetails, and rugged bluff country overlooking miles of the Ohio River country.

Our Illinois whitetail service was the first in our area to manage for World Class Whitetails and the time and effort put into managing for these Trophy Class Deer has paid off for our hunting clients. A highly nutritional food source of Mossy Oak Biologic blends, corn, soybeans, alfalfa, clover, and acorns provide the nutrients whitetails need to reach trophy class standards on our farms. Combine this great food source with our 130" minimum on harvestable bucks and the result is Awesome Whitetail Hunting.  

TURKEY HUNTS     

TURKEY HUNTING  with us is second to none.  If you are looking for a cheap hunt with a success rate close to 100% each season then this is the hunt for you.  Our turkey hunting is fast paced in the mornings and a great hunt for young hunters trying to harvest their first big game animal.  So come and experience the thundering gobbles from some of the largest birds in North America.  Not only do we have big bucks in Illinois, but some GIGANTIC TURKEY as well.  Some of our gobblers have weighed over 27 lbs. 

Our knowledgable guides will put you on several gobblers each morning.  Our birds roost in the same areas year after year, so it is not hard to get on them.  You will enjoy spending time in the field with your guide.  For the experienced hunters we also have do-it-yourself hunts on private farms that are loaded up with turkey. 

Pine Hill Camp has everything a hunter would need. It has 3 bedrooms, and 2 full bathrooms.  It also contains a full kitchen, DirecTV, Big Screen TV, washer and driers, meat processing facilities with large freezers, aerial maps of the properties you will be hunting, and a scent free building for hunters to store all their gear.   Meals are provided in camp by our cooks.  Pine Hill Camp Sleeps 7 hunters very comfortably and is within 1/4 mile of the hunting property. 

Cedar Hill Camp is located 3 miles away from Pine Hill camp and comes with a fully equipped kitchen, gas grills, fireplace, DirecTV, and aerial maps of the property you will be hunting.  The camp is located on a picturesque limestone bluff overlooking the Ohio River countryside.  Cedar Hill comes with 4 cabins that sleep 4 hunters very comfortably.
