Welcome to Canadian River Outfitters. Professional Big Game and Small Game Hunting Outfitter located in New Mexico offering Trophy Big and Small Game Hunting. Our hunting property consists of nearly 10,000 acres of Prime New Mexico Hunting ground for Mule Deer, Antelope, Turkey, Ducks, Game Birds, Coyotes and Prairie Dogs. Outfitter /Guide Tom Bruhn has worked this property all of his life, and knows how the game move and how to get hunters the best shot. Also, we have Hunting access to an additional 12,000 acres of private land. While our Mule Deer and Pronghorn Antelope hunts are the most desired in this area, northern New Mexico Elk Hunting has a reputation that stands on its own.
        
                      

Hunting Guides: Canadian River Outfitters provides our clients with the Best Experienced New Mexico Hunting Guides. Our hunting guides are resident hunters and guides that have hunted this area for twenty years. Whether your preference is Bow or Rifle, our guides will do an excellent job getting you the best shot possible. These tags are private property tags, with the advantage of hunting access to the entire unit.

Mule Deer Hunting: Since management is a priority, Canadian River Outfitters will accept only a limited number of Mule Deer Hunters in a given season. Mule Deer Hunters have been coming here for over 18 years. The arroyos leading to the Reuvelto River, along with mesquite cover and farm field forage, make the Perfect Combination for Trophy New Mexico Mule Deer habitat. Pronghorn Antelope Hunting: As the only ranch with 800 acres of winter wheat within 30 miles, guess where the New Mexico Antelope go! We have counted up to 150 head of Antelope at a given time on our property. With Ute Creek as a preferred watering location only ½ mile from our wheat pasture, and native pasture providing adequate cover, we have plenty of New Mexico Pronghorn to choose from. As with all of our hunts Canadian River Outfitters offers you Antelope Hunting as a fully guided, all-inclusive experience. No draw is necessary as with all of our hunts, as these are our private land tags. Northeastern New Mexico antelope have a reputation that stands on their own.

Elk Hunting: New Mexico, the “Land of Enchantment” offers World Renowned Elk Hunting. Unit 53 near Taos, New Mexico provides Canadian River Outfitters with an opportunity to offer our clients guaranteed landowner tags. We have a team of hunting guides that have grown up Elk Hunting either rifle or bow in the mountains of northern New Mexico. Our guides have years of experience Elk Hunting and Guiding unit 53, which offers Bulls in the 320 class on a consistent basis. The mountain views and wildlife are breathtaking. To make this hunt successful, be prepared for hiking in high altitude, cold conditions. While we will do everything we can to make this all-inclusive Elk Hunt a success, you must come prepared for the conditions.

Ducks and Geese (Waterfowl) Hunting: Canadian River Outfitters has several ponds that are located in the central fly zone. Just to name a few of the ducks you can bag, we have:Red Heads, Pintail, Wood Ducks, Green Winged Teal, Cinnamon Teal, Northern Shoveled, Wigeon, Canvasback and many more. We provide you with blinds, decoys and a boat. The following hunts are offered as unguided. However, if you would prefer a guide, Canadian River Outfitters is pleased to accommodate you. Turkey Hunting: Canadian River Outfitters offers excellent New Mexico turkey hunting for either Merriam or Rio Grande wild turkeys. The Merriam Turkeys love to hang out on the property of Canadian River Outfitters. The natural habitat provides the diversity of river country, farm land and natural grass and brush. What’s not to love? Not to mention they have found every deer feeder that we have installed! Canadian River Outfitters can offer Rio Grande Turkeys at a ranch that is 40 miles north, in Harding county. Neither location is over hunted,  you will not have to worry about competing with too many hunters during your hunt.
