The Whitetail Gods:
4:25 p.m The moon is over head and the wind is dumping out of the north west, with a front moving in. My life long friend Shawn is the hunter on deck . Man the season is here I’m thinking as we drove by a 140 inch buck in the beans to left driving to the farm. Man we are late, knowing the drive back to the white oaks was risqué business with the 4 legged creatures filtering out into the fields so early. So what do I do. Do I risk it going in, knowing that deer are moving and will bust out? So We make the decision to abort the mission and go to a spot where we had seen some nice bucks back in July but it’s now September. It’s the only choice we have with time against us and a north west wind. So in the stand he goes as I stroll off on the quad praying to the whitetail gods for Shawn’s success.

I have hunted with Shawn since we were kids skipping school to hunt rabbits and squirrels . Sharing the latest issue of Bowhunter Magazine  and collecting our Cabela’s catalogs cutting ads out to make our Christmas lists  yup the good ole days, anyways I get a text from Shawn “6 point at 20 yards for and hour” as I finish reading his text I start seeing deer everywhere. As I’m driving around killin time. And I texted back “1 hr big boy coming through”, boy the whitetail gods were making me look like I knew what I was texting. At 6:30 my friend of 20 years harvested his largest whitetail to date. The buck scored 137 inches. Moral of this story, when everything is against you in the whitetail woods just pray to the whitetail gods you never know when their going to grant you that ultimate wish.

Welcome Bowhunters! 2012 is here and after a very easy winter the bone is back to growing faster than expected. We were late opening last year half way into season so we decided to just leave the deer alone and let them grow. Only 1 bowhunter came in and harvested a nice 137 inch buck. As the weeks went on with trail cam pics coming in, we saw how the deer jumped up in size. Most of our bucks last year where 3.5 years old and made it to 2012.

Central Ohio Bow Hunt: $2995  (pick your 5 days from Oct-22-Nov23)

You will be staying at a holiday inn express in Reynoldsburg Ohio. The hotel is in walking distance of Gander Mountain , Walmart etc... and is within 15 minutes of our hunting ground . Will be hunting in Reynoldsburg, Pickerington and Baltimore areas of Ohio. This area is Famous for Multiple Deer Scoring into Boone and Crockett Record Books. We will be hunting mostly urban deer that have reached maturity through local farms being turned into sub divisions we have the grounds leased for the first time ever, and all other land in this area is controlled by the pro tv hunters . Our hunt style is very unique, unfamiliar to most hunters but if killing a Monster Buck is on your list than our Hunting Methods will provide you the best possible chance of filling your tag on a Ohio Giant. Reduced Rate Central Ohio Bow Hunt: $1750 “lodging and food not included”

This is the same hunt as above minus lodging and food. We understand some people like to eat what they want and sleep where they want ,so we are offering a hunt at a reduced rate . This hunt will allow you to pick your own dates from oct 22-nov 23.

Southern Ohio Bow Hunt: $1995 (pick any 5 days from Oct-22-Nov23)

This hunt takes place in Meigs and Galia county ohio, about 2 hours south east of columbus. Here you will be staying in a log cabin in the middle of the woods it's one of the most peaceful places you’ll ever find. The Whitetail in this region are plentiful in the 130-140 inch range. The areas hold a few deer in the 150-160 class but are few and fare between. We recommend this Whitetail Hunt for the hunter looking to kill a pope and young not a Booner . This area of ohio is as rural as they come very few cell phones work except At&t and the nearest town with supplies is 45 mins. Our lodge is fully stocked with everything you'll need during your stay though.
