Big Bend Guiding & Outfitting quality Goose Hunting Outfitters, Duck Hunting Guides and Black Bear Hunting Outfitters in Saskatchewan.

Birch Hills is located in the heart of the Saskatchewan, a mere 1½ hour drive from Saskatoon, and 3½ hours from Regina and ½ hour from Prince Alberta. Our area consists of 5 Wildlife Management Zones, where we mainly concentrate hunting in zone 42.



This gives us tens of thousands of acres of prime farmland, parkland and water bodies, providing very successful Goose Hunting, Duck Hunting hunting, Waterfowl Hunting and Black Bear opportunities.

Bordering the northern boreal forest of Saskatchewan our area is first to receive the large swarms of returning migratory birds. They are hungry for grains from our fields and the many surrounding lakes, sloughs, and the North and South Saskatchewan Rivers provide excellent roosting
grounds for the duration of their stay.    
                       
You will stay in our newly renovated lodge located 6 miles from Birch Hills located in the small town of Hagen, Saskatchewan. You will be pampered by all specially prepared fresh cooked meals by two of the best cooks that could be found. It is their mandate to make your dining experience one to remember. 

                    Provided by Big Bend for your Hunt:
A. Lodging – includes bedding & towels.

B. 3 Daily Meals and Lunches.

C. Thermos for taking hot beverages to the field.

D. Guides and daily field spotting.

E. .All essential equipment to have successful hunts. (Decoys, blinds, e-calls, etc.)

F. Bird cleaning is available at a cost per bird to the hunter. Please call and arrange bird cleaning prior to your arrival.


                                 You are responsible for:
A. Air fare to and from destination.

B.  Vehicle Rental from airport to lodge.

C. Depending on your flights arrival and departure times, you may require an overnight hotel stay in Saskatoon that is not covered in the daily fee. This would have to be pre-arranged by your party.

D.  Licensing and Migratory Game Permits – approximately runs $140.00 - $150.00 US. See for more information. Saskatchewan Environment Hunting Programs and Services

E. Fees for your Canadian Firearms Registration – approximately $40.00 US.See Non-Resident Firearms Registration for more information.

F.  Liquor, Beer, sodas, bottled water - can be purchased upon your arrival or you can pre-arrange us to pick it up for you.

g. Ammunition – with such limited weight restriction on airplanes, you can arrange with us to pick up your ammunition prior to your arrival.

H. Bird cleaning is available at a cost per bird to the hunter. Please call and arrange bird cleaning prior to your arrival.
