Pheasant Hunting:  South Dakota is THE Destination for Pheasant Hunting. We have NEVER released a bird and you will find the hunting here fast paced and exciting. Year round predator control in our pheasant hunting locations has produced booming results in the population.

                             
You will be fully guided and enjoy watching the dogs flush these Wild Birds time and again. Come join us for a fun filled trip you will remember for years to come. The thrill a hunter gets when a rooster flushes at their feet is enough in itself, but the atmosphere of a pheasant hunt is a great socializing experience. Grouse / Prairie Chicken: Hunting in the wide open Grasslands or the rugged Badlands of South Dakota is a breathtaking experience. Sharp-tail Grouse and Prairie Chickens are two different types of native birds to the area. It is fun to hunt the country grouse like to call home just because of the other animals and scenery you will encounter.

                 
Grouse/Prairie Chicken hunts can legally begin at sunrise. That makes for a great combination with our pheasant hunts as they do not begin until 12:00 (10:00 after daylight savings time).
 
Waterfowl Hunting: With very limited hunts our waterfowl hunting can be top notch. The majority of the hunting is done on dry fields with decoys in the morning and evening, but we do a few hunts set up with a spread on the water. We live in the central flyway which gives us a wide variety of waterfowl. We focus on Canadian geese, snow geese, mallards, teals, gadwalls, widgeons, a few divers, pintails, and several other miscellaneous ducks. 

We do have connections in the eastern portion of the state where we can set you up on just about any type of waterfowl hunt experience that you want. Hunting snow geese on a massive spread of 1500 decoys, hunting puddle ducks on small water holes with decoys, or hunting Canadians in dry corn fields are all fun and thrilling hunts that we can offer.
 
Turkey Hunting: Semi-guided or non-guided available mainly in the spring on public ground so you would need to apply with South Dakota Game Fish & Parks for a tag. We have hundreds of birds in the area all year round so it is a turkey hunters dream.. Contact us for details. 

                 


Predator Hunting:  World class western coyote hunts are a great off season hunt. You can bring your own calls, or our guides can call for you. Electric calls are legal in South Dakota. Expect to see anywhere from 3-15 coyotes per day. Predator control also helps our Big Game and Bird populations.
 
    


Turkey Hunting: Turkey hunts are offered in three states including South Dakota, Kansas, and Nebraska.

         
The beauty of being able to hunt these three states is the flexibility of being able to hunt three seasons from late March untill the end of May as well as being able to hunt three of the four main sub-species of turkeys. (Merriams - Rio - Eastern)

Prairie Dog Hunting: Endless miles of prairie dog towns offer a great combination hunt, or a chance to get out during the off season and pull the trigger on some challenging targets. We hunt several 50-100 acres dog towns, but we like to set up along edges of 1000 plus acre dog towns. You are guaranteed to not sit at the same location twice unless by request.
 
We have plenty of land and limit our hunters. We really enjoy when hunters bring out the long range weapons. Last fall we had a gentlemen from Eastern South Dakota shoot three Prairie Dogs off of the same hole at 780 yards.

 Lodging : We have done something fairly unique for our lodge accommodations.  We restored a 60 year old crib grainery into a modern/rustic hunting lodge while trying to keep as much of the historic building intact as possible.  The lodge is complete with a fully furnished kitchen, three large living areas, laundry rooms, satellite TV, leather furniture, and a card room.  Indoor and outdoor rifle/archery ranges are available for some last minute shooting to prepare for your hunt as well as a skeet and trap range.  A cleaning area is set up with water and a large enough freezers to store your game during your stay.
