The Hunt for Wyoming Whitetail Has Begun

True to its reputation as a very outdoorsy, hunting-fishing-and-camping kind of state, Wyoming delivers the goods when it comes to the thrill of hunting glorious trophy whitetail bucks! Many Wyoming outfitters offer excellent whitetail hunting packages; from guided to semi-guided to self-guided, from bow hunting to rifles, and from mountainous regions to vast meadows, Wyoming whitetail hunts are a spectacle to behold. Wyoming isn't necessarily known for big Whitetail deer, however, which is a good thing because whitetails abound in the state, and most hunters don't even know about it! In 1993, I relocated from Oklahoma to Western Wyoming and have watched the Whitetail rapidly expand their ranges through most of Wyoming.”
Mr. Rinehart can attest to the viability of his livelihood; after all, his whitetail-hunting experience and his colleagues have shown him the beauty of the Wyoming landscape over the years, and he maintains a lucrative business to this day.
He divulges more details about his whitetail ranch, a point of interest for many sportsmen itching to experience the vast open skies and rewarding game: “Our ranch is located 17 miles west of Riverton, Wyoming, which is at the foothills for the Wind River Mountains and lies along the river bottoms of the Wind River. We had an opportunity to lease this ranch for hunting in 1996 and purchased it in 2003. My wife is also an avid sportswoman and we have embarked on a quest to enhance our hardwood habitat, improve our feed fields and increase our resident Whitetail herd. We have been successful in removing undesirable genes and improve our quality of bucks by 40 plus inches. After investing a lot of time and hard labor, we have made the decision to start booking hunters for the 2009 Wyoming hunting season.”
