Join us on our trophy Canada moose hunts in northern Alberta, Canada. Picture yourself in Alberta's remote northern boreal forest over looking a peaceful beaver meadow in pursuit of a trophy moose… what an amazing moose hunting adventure! Boss Outfitting offers 2 kinds of moose hunts to accommodate a variety of hunters.
Moose Rut Hunts - September-October This moose hunt is done in the calling season during the prime moose rut. In September and October moose respond well to calling and can be taken with both bow and rifle. Rifle hunters regularly achieve up to 80% success on a good size bull that can have a 60" spread or better. Other hunters are rarely encountered in our hunting area because it is so isolated and hard to access, thus making the moose hunting amazing. A September moose hunt can be combined with black bear and wolf to make the most of your hunt in Canada. It is usually mild during this season but the weather can be volatile, so be prepared.
These hunts are sold on the basis of 2 hunters per guide with high success rates on past hunts. All terrain vehicles and Argos will be the main sources of transportation. In some cases 4X4 trucks will be used. Our hunts will range from 7 to 10 days. Special packages may be arranged.
November Moose Hunts: Our November moose hunts enable us to access areas where one normally would not venture in the calling season. With the ground frozen, we head into zones where some trophy moose have seldom encountered another hunter. In these remote camps, your chances of harvesting a very large bull moose are increased. During the hunt we will travel looking for feeding moose and fresh signs in logging cuts and creek bottoms. In November, travelling into the home of the moose is made easy by snowmobiles. We can travel much greater distances than we can in September and October, accessing areas that are rarely, if ever, hunted. Hunting this virgin territory can yield some magnificent trophies. We can combo this hunt with baited wolf or bison. Snowmobiles, all terrain vehicles, and Argos will be the main sources of transportation. In some cases 4X4 trucks will be used.
Black bear hunting in Alberta Canada with Boss Outfitting. Trophy black bears are what we are all about. We regularly have bears over 400 lbs and to date average 70% P&Y. Our trophy black bear hunts take place in remote northern Alberta, Canada. This is one of the most untouched hunting units in Alberta. You won’t be bear hunting 200 yards from the road and you won’t be near other bear hunters. We get back there where the big ones live and we hunt them hard! The area is prime bear habitat and continues to produce huge bears thanks to excellent genetics, food and population.
Baited Black Bear Hunts: Bear hunting over baits is a very successful way to harvest bears. To date we have achieved 200% success on a 2 bear quota. Six-foot bears are a regular occurrence and we do our best to put a seven-foot bear in front of you! You never know what comes strolling in to your bait!!! The bait sites are set up for bow hunters. We shoot at 15 yards. I like a clean, comfortable bait site and most of the stands can accommodate 2-3 people.
Spot and Stalk Bear Hunts: Spot and stalk bear hunting is an exciting hunt. We hunt off of logging roads until a bear is spotted, then stalk it to within range. Baiting is not allowed in areas where grizzlies are present and so areas like these can yield some very good quality black bears because of the low hunting pressure.
Come whitetail deer hunting in Alberta Canada with Boss Outfitting and enjoy a hunting adventure of a lifetime.
Join us on our trophy whitetail deer hunts in North Central Alberta, Canada. Whitetail deer hunting in Alberta is world-renowned. Rifle and archery hunters have taken some incredible trophies. Boss outfitting is offering archery whitetail deer hunts as well as November rifle whitetail hunts during the rut.
As every whitetail hunter knows chasing a large buck in the heat of the rut is the way to go. These whitetail deer hunts are done in tent camps, or motel, depending on the client's preference. We use many methods to pursue these whitetail deer such as stand hunting, deer drives, spot and stalk, and still hunting. In November, during the heavy rut, we also employ rattling as a very effective technique.
Our whitetail deer hunts take place in Swan Hills Alberta, northwest of Edmonton. The mixture of thick bush and agricultural farmland is prime habitat for whitetail deer. Our hunting area is well known for producing world class bucks and continues to fill the record books with big deer year after year. Our whitetail hunts are fairly exclusive and specific to each group of hunters. We scout year around and have a good idea where to find the big ones.
It is not uncommon to see mule deer in the 140"-200" class in our whitetail deer hunting area. A mulie hunt can be added with a whitetail hunt for an additional cost. The opportunity exists in Alberta to harvest the next world record.
