Hunting Guide: Tim Lockwood has hunted all of his life. He understands from experience what a client expects and what it takes to ensure a memorable hunt. His love of hunting and the outdoors is what convinced him to start an outfitting business. He is actively involved and supports various hunting organizations from local to international. Tim is involved with every aspect of the hunts that he provides from the marketing, to the bookings, to helping with travel arrangements and the guiding.

Black Bear Hunting: Our Black Bear hunts are conducted on private and public hunting land in California. The general season opens in August and continues into late December but we prefer to hunt from the middle of September through the middle of November. Bear tags are over the counter first come first served. We will use 4x4 transportation and be on foot during this hunt. We will use highly trained veteran hounds to locate and pursue the bears. There are many bears in the locations that we hunt and most are color phased. The averaged sized bear is usually around 250 pounds. Our success ratio is high on this hunt. If you have never heard the sound that a pack of hounds makes while trailing and fighting a mean bear then you are missing out on one of the most exciting ways to hunt bear.


Blacktail Deer Hunting: conducted on A-zone private ranches in Sonoma and Mendocino counties. A-zone deer tags are over the counter first come first served. The archery season opens in July and general season opens the second weekend in August and continues into late September. The terrain consists of open fields, rolling hills, forests, canyons and brush. This is ideal country to glass the mountain sides and oak edges looking for that Monster Blacktail. We will use methods of spot & stalk to hunt the Deer. There are many Trophy and meat Bucks on our ranches. Our success ratio is high on this hunt since all of our Deer hunts are one hunter to one guide. The ranches that we hunt are private which allows us to keep hunting pressure low, allowing Bucks to mature. Whether you would like to hunt with Archery or Rifle, we can make it happen.


Bobcat Hunting: Our bobcat hunts are conducted on private and public hunting land in California. The season opens October 31st and closes February 28th. Bobcat tags are sold over the counter first come first served. We will use 4x4 transportation and be on foot during this hunt. The terrain consists of open fields, rolling hills, forests, canyons and brush. We will use highly trained veteran hounds to locate and pursue the bobcats. There are many bobcats in the locations that we hunt. Our success ratio is high on this hunt. If you have never heard the sound that a pack of hounds makes while trailing a cunning bobcat then you are missing out.

Wild Hog Hunting: Our wild pig hunts are conducted on private ranches in Sonoma and Mendocino counties. Pig tags are over the counter first come first served. The pig season is year round. The terrain consists of open fields, rolling hills, forests, canyons and brush. This is ideal country to glass the mountain sides and oak edges looking for that monster hog. We will use methods of spot and stalk to hunt the pigs. The use of dogs is optional and can also be a very exciting hunt. There are many trophy and meat pigs on our ranches. Our success ratio is high on this hunt. The ranches we hunt are private which allows us to keep hunting pressure low allowing the pigs to mature to old age with an abundant population. Whether you enjoy a spot and stalk hunt with archery equipment or a rifle or a fast paced hunt with dogs we can make it happen.
