Pro Outfitters is located in Northwest Missouri on over 2500 acres of private land. Bordering the Missouri River, this area is made up of cropland, hardwoods, draws and river bottoms, proving to be one of Missouri’s best kept secrets for huge Whitetail deer. Our hunting area is convently located within minutes of your lodging at Big Lake State Park.

Deer Hunting: Pro Outfitters offers seasonal hunts with a variety of sporting methods, including muzzle loader, rifle and archery. For your convenience and safety, hunts are conducted primarily from tree stands and ground blinds. Hunters are welcome to bring their own stands or use the pre-located ladder stands set up by the Pro Outfitters staff. Our stands are checked and maintained during the season to insure safety. Stand locations are strategically placed throughout the season, based on scouting and deer activity.

Duck Hunts: Pro Outfitters hunt ducks in ideal conditions and situations, including big water, rivers, sloughs, and flooded fields. We spend countless hours scouting and are always trying to pinpoint the birds’ activity. We tailor our hunts to where the birds are at any particular time. We have put together a cluster of ground North and West of the Squaw Creek Refuge pools, an area rich in waterfowl tradition. At peak migration times, Squaw Creek Refuge will hold over 100,000 ducks. Early season hunters should expect to hunt Teal, Wood Duck, Gadwalls and Mallards. You will hunt out of pit blinds on flooded bean or cornfields.

Goose Hunts: We hunt geese in Northwest Missouri near Squaw Creek National Wildlife refuge, which is a major staging area for over a million Snow, Blue and Ross Geese. The snow geese hunts run from the middle of February through the end of March, during the Conservation Order. The Conservation Order has been called to thin out the over populated Snow Geese. This order is very liberal, allowing for the use of electronic calls, unplugged guns and no limits. This makes for fast and furious action. The hunts take place on both land and water on private leases. For up-close and personal shooting and comfort and concealment, we use finisher blinds. We also use large spreads of decoys to insure hunter success.

Turkey Hunts: Spring is no doubt one of the most beautiful times of the year. Combine our expert staff with fields of wildflowers and strutting toms and you have the perfect picture of a spring turkey hunt with Pro Outfitters.


Hunting Guides:
My guides have been hand picked for their experience, ability to call, to set up and harvest birds day in and day out. All of my guides have hunted with me at least a year and are some of the best hunters I have seen around. We cater to small groups of hunters and typically only allow five to six hunters per day. This helps insure the quality of our hunts and allows our guides to give you the personal attention you deserve during your hunt.
