Hunting, Fishing and Taxidermy Services in New York

Now operating for over 10 years, Adirondack Mountain & Stream Guide Service is a four season guide service located in the Adironack Park, a six million acre playground. At Adirondack Mountain & Stream we live, work, and thrive in the outdoors and believe in sharing our knowledge and in helping others to enjoy the many experiences of the great outdoors. We specialize in back-country outings. Be it Hunting, Fishing, or Canoeing, our goal is to get you into the out-of-the-way place.

Here at Adirondack Mountain and Stream we have been leading tours now for going on 16 years. Our guides are folks who are not only licensed by the state but also are people who love the outdoors and enjoy helping people enjoy their trip to the fullest. We provide all camping gear, meals, and canoes as well as the wood-wise guide for the excursion.
You bring only clothes, a sleeping bag, and a thirst for outdoor adventure provide your clients?

Hunting for big game hunting starts in Sept. and runs until the first part of Dec. The regular rifle season traditionally goes from the end of Oct. until the first week of Dec.

For those who would like a back country adventure we offer a outfitter camp. The hike to the camp is about 2 miles, once there you will find wall tents are heated with woodstoves and all meals are provided. Hunting in the camp is best around the rut, which tends to be the latter part of Nov. The trips are fully guided.

Fishing for Trout, Bass and Pike is much at hand. The Adirondacks have many lakes, ponds rivers and streams. The months of May, June, September, and October are the best for trout. During the warmer summer we tend to concentrate on bass and pike.

All of our trips are customized so day trips and overnights are available. For our day trips folks there are many lodges, motels and B&B's in the area. For the other who would like to camp, tents and all outfitter type gear will be supplied.

Once fall has come and gone the fishing doesn't end in the Adirondacks. In the winter months we offer ice fishing trips. So this season let us here at Mountain and Stream take the stress out of your next fishing adventure. Fullly guided day trips provided.

Snowshoe rabbit hunts with hounds offered in winter months.

X/C Skiing - Snowshoeing - Backpacking. If you would like to do an outing in the great outdoors where hunting & fishing are not involved, just some great outdoor time, we put together outings with the skier or hiker in mind. Day trips & overnight trips are available.
