I am a lifelong resident of southern Illinois. My fondest memories of my childhood come from riding the trails, hunting and fishing in beautiful southern Illinois. Hunting is a legacy that was passed on from my grandpa to my dad and now to my 3 children, Cooper, Mattie and new addition Wyatt.

There is something special about sharing the outdoors with your family that can't be replaced by a computer, tv or video game.

I have been an avid hunter for over 25 years. The thrill of getting close and taking a mature buck is hard to beat but I now look forward to taking my son Cooper for his first season deer hunt with his own bow and arrow more than any other hunt I've experienced on my own. I can't wait to share that with my other 2 kids is the future.

Cooper and Mattie have already gone with me on hunts and the light in their eyes when a deer passes by or a turkey gobbles is unbelievable.
