African Safari Hunting: A licensed professional hunter (PH) accompanies each hunter or pair of hunters. Richard Brebner is our current resident PH. He is professional, knowledgeable, and very capable when you're after dangerous game. In addition, you will be accompanied by at least one tracker, sometimes two. Most of these chaps have grown up in the bush, and seem to have a sixth-sense about what the game is going to do. The camp is staffed with excellent skinners, to ensure your trophies will be properly cared for. Your taxidermist back home will appreciate their expert field preparation. The Hunting Camp is exclusive for your hunt unless your prior approval has been obtained.



The Hunting Property: Located close to the famed Tuli Circle and the Botswana border, Sentinel is 80,000 acres of unfenced natural beauty ideal for big game hunting. The property is the perfect place to conduct a hunting safari in Zimbabwe as it is comprised of several eco systems from seventeen kilometers of riverine forest on the Limpopo River, to magnificent sandstone koppies, to the seemingly endless mopani bush plains dotted with acacia and baobab trees. Wildlife thrives because of the biodiversity. It's a great destination for your Africa hunting trip.



Accommodations: Sentinel camp is more than just a very comfortable African Hunting camp. The guest chalets have tubs and walk in showers, hot and cold running water of course, flush toilets, and electricity. Each room is even equipped with a hair dryer for the ladies. The entire camp is hidden and tucked into the rocks in an eco friendly way.

Services: Daily maid service will keep your room clean, and your laundry will be done for you each day. All the chalets have their own verandas with great views. There is a common area with a fire pit, where you will gather to ward off the evening chill, and relive the day's excitement.
If the moon is dark, you will be treated to the best star gazing in the world.
If you are looking for a family hunting package in Africa you need not look any further.

Meals: The dining room is nearby, and is covered, but open to facilitate game viewing. From my dining room chair, I have seen everything, from Elephants and Eland, to a 60" Kudu. Sentinel is situated in the heart of game country, and even while in camp you will see game at the waterhole all day long!

Booking Your Safari: To avoid disappointment book well in advance if special highly sought after species are on your wish list. The best routing for your travel is to use Johannesburg in South Africa as the gateway. Sentinel then can be reached by flying into either Bulawayo in Zimbabwe (Preferred) or from Polokwane (Pietersburg) in South Africa. In either case Digby Bristow or your PH will meet your arriving airplane and transfer you by road to Sentinel Ranch. We will provide all the gun import information, packing lists, and communicate the final details to make this a hassle free experience.
