Grindstone Springs Hunting Service is a professional guide service with 2,500 private strictly managed acres. We offer some of the best deer and turkey hunting in the nation, to a limited number of hunters each year. Located in the premier hunting locations of Calloway Co.(KY) and Henry Co.(TN), we offer archery, black powder and rifle hunts.


Hunts Offered: 4 types of Hunts are Available-Guided & Semi-Guided:
(3 day minimum) - Whitetail Bow Hunts, Muzzleloader Hunts, Whitetail Gun Hunts, Spring Turkey Hunts. The four key ingredients to having a quality deer herd and turkey flocks are all found at Grindstone Springs. You must have genetics, food, habitat, and a good age structure to produce monster bucks and trophy gobblers.

About our Hunts: Grindstone Springs prides itself in the trophy bucks it generates year after year and is a "FAIR CHASE HUNT" meaning no fences. Our extensive use of strategically placed food plots, along with some row crop production, and very low impact hunting pressure allow a superb environment for Trophy Whitetail Deer and Turkey population to flourish.

We require all hunters to wear fall protection which the hunter must provide. We recommend ScentLok Clothing. Your Group will be the only group hunting the farms while you are there (up to 6 hunters). A guide is available for you to guide you and give any info you require about your hunt.

Deer Harvest Guidelines: We pride our service and land on producing trophy bucks. You are allowed to harvest 1 Trophy buck at Grindstone Springs. If a buck is taken that is under 16" wide (Ear Wide) then you will be charged an additional fee and no more bucks may be taken. Leave the small bucks alone so they can mature and become trophies. After the harvest of a trophy buck, we encourage you to harvest as many does as the state laws allow.

Lodging: We provide a fully furnished Lodge located on the grounds, which can accommodate up to 6 hunters. Some meals will be included (lunch meat, sandwiches coffee etc) Meals are the responsibility of the hunter please make use of the kitchen facilities provided in the lodge.

Hunting Property: the land is very strictly managed for healthy deer. We use tower stands and stationary stands for the hunting. The farms are very secluded and have limited access so rest assured that our deer population is NOT over hunted or over pressured.
