Self Guided Hunts - Roosevelt Elk, Deer, Black Bear: self guided hunting is available on nearby government managed land. Managed Elk hunting is available, and according to the state's Department of Fish & Wildlife, in 2000, Oregon's elk population numbered approximately 120,000 animals.
