Hunting in Arizona for Elk, Mule Deer , Whitetail Deer and Antelope
|
Ridgeline Outfitters, LLC is a licensed, insured, and U.S. Forest Service
Permitted hunting outfit based outside of Springerville, Arizona. The
owner and operator, Dan Reyes, is a very experienced hunter of many New
Mexico and Arizona species. We offer archery, muzzleloader, and rifle
hunts in Arizona and New Mexico for Elk, Mule Deer, Couse Whitetail, and
Antelope. All hunts are fair chase and take place on public and private
land. We hunt only the high quality areas where the hunter has the capability
of taking a quality animal.
Arizona
Hunts: Our Arizona Elk hunts take place on public land in various
units throughout the state of Arizona. Arizona is the home to the largest
stand of Ponderosa Pines in the country and also the record book bulls
that top the list of Boone & Crocket and Pope & Young. Arizona
has and will continually produce monster sized elk and we have the privilege
of hunting and living around these incredible animals. All hunts in Arizona
are draw only through the state lottery draw system of the Arizona Game
and Fish. We offer Archery, Muzzleloader and Rifle hunts for the hunter
that is fortunate enough to draw a tag. Archery hunts takes place generally
around the middle to the end of September.
Muzzleloader
Hunts: change from year to year in which units the game commission
decides they will put the hunt on. The coveted early Arizona rifle tag
is also switched from year to year and unit to unit. The potential to
take a record book bull is very high, but the chance of drawing a tag
is tough. Arizona also has a late rifle hunt in November which generally
is a very good hunt. On the late hunt the hunter has the opportunity to
see bachelor groups of bulls. Regardless of which hunt the hunter draws,
he or she will surely have a hunt of a lifetime.
New
Mexico Hunts: Our elk hunts in New Mexico take place on the highly
sought after Gila National Forest of western New Mexico. The Gila has
consistently produced trophy class bulls that hunters from around country
have given chase. The Gila is a very broad and beautiful area of western
New Mexico, which allows the hunter to have a large area to hunt. The
units we typically hunt are primitive weapon use areas only which haven't
been rifle hunted for a good many years. New Mexico offers great opportunities
for the mobility impaired hunter for Elk and Antelope. We can apply any
hunter that qualifies for these hunts. So give us a call about these special
hunts.
Accommodations: Accommodations for a fully guided
hunt very from hunt to hunt and species to species, camps will either
be held in a lodge wall tents or out of hotel. For those that do not like
the camping aspect, we also offer a "guide-only" package where
you stay in a hotel at your own expense and provide your own meals.
Meals: Meals and beverages are provided on fully-guided/outfitted
hunts. Breakfasts with coffee, packed lunches, and cooked, hot dinners
are the norm. Any special diets will be gladly accepted. Snacks/goodies
for your daypack are provided.
