RATLDM Ranch Guide Service is located in Susanville, California. We offer guided hunts for California Black Bear, Blacktail Deer, Mule Deer, Antelope and Elk. Lodging may be added to the price of your hunt.

Our goal is to give you the hospitality and a Hunt or Fishing trip that other outfitter and guides just don't give. Our hunts are not guaranteed hunts however our success rate is very high and we never charge a Trophy fee. If you get a Trophy Size Animal or Fish so much the better. We would rather give you a Quality Hunt or Fishing Trip than charge you an outlandish price.


Bear Hunting: Our Bear hunts are with Dogs only. We hunt Lassen, Plumas, Modoc and Shasta National Forests. We take several Bears each year in the 300 to 500 lbs range.
Guide fee $500. Kill Fee $750.

Blacktail or Mule Deer Hunting: Our Deer hunts are 2 day hunts.
* Archery Hunts are either from tree stands on select trails and areas in the Plumas National Forest in the C-4 Zone or from stands on private hunting property in X6A.
* Firearm Hunts are mostly spot and stalk in zones X-1 thru X6A.
Deer range from Blacktails in C-4 to very large Mule Deer in the X Zone. Guide Fee $500 guide fee. Kill fee $500.


Antelope Hunting: these hunts are available in all of the Northeastern California zones mostly on public land. There are many extremely large Bucks in the Lassen and Modoc County areas. This is a 2 day per person hunts.
$500 guide fee. $1000 kill fee.

Elk Hunting: We only hunt the Northeastern California zone. These herds have some extremely large Bulls. This is a 3 day hunt.
$750 guide fee. $2000 kill fee.

Bobcat Hunting with Dogs: $250 per day. $200 kill fee

Varmint Hunting: $250 per day

Quail, Dove Grouse, Turkey, Chukar Hunts: $200 per day

Fishing Trips: We fish all lakes and streams in Plumas, Lassen and Modoc Counties or whatever species you would like.
$150 per person per day 2 person minimum.


Lodging: come stay in our Century Old, Historic Wells Fargo Stage Stop. At over 3500 sq ft., with all the amenities, it is much more comfortable than a motel room in Susanville. Rooms range from $75 to $125 per night.
