Hunting for Whitetail Deer, Turkey, Goose and Duck in
South Central and Northeast Iowa
|
Jones
Creek Outfitters provides guided Whitetail Deer Hunts in some of Iowa's
best whitetail country from South Central to Northeast Iowa. All hunts
are on private ground with good opportunities to harvest a real trophy
Whitetail. If you have been keeping up on Iowa Whitetails for very long,
you have heard about incredible trophy opportunity that awaits you.
Deer Hunting: The deer herd is as strong as ever with two mild
winters and several 150+ inch whitetails making it through the hunting
season and the winter. A 196 6/8 (NET) inch monster was harvested during
the archery season last fall, as well as some 165+ inch deer during the
gun seasons. You're not guaranteed a trophy but should have the opportunity
and could harvest the biggest whitetail you have ever taken.
If
you are an avid whitetail deer hunter, I think this will be an enjoyable
hunt. We will take you on a guided hunt with many farms to choose from.
Whitetail Deer Hunting Prices - Gun & Archery: All Hunts $2500
per person (No Trophy Fees) - includes fully guided 5 day hunt, all meals
and lodging.
*We will book hunts prior to the draw with receipt of $1000 deposit that
will secure your hunting dates.
Hunting
Dates: The Iowa season begins October 1 and runs through January 10,
2006. Archery, Early Muzzleloader, Shotgun season & two, and Late Muzzleloader.
Each season offers a little different hunting opportunity. Most hunts
will last 3-5 days. Out-of-state deer and turkey hunting in Iowa will
require you draw a tag from the Iowa DNR.
Apply through the Iowa DNR at www.iowadnr.com
or call
1-800-367-1188 to order a license.
Application period 5/1/05-6/5/05.

Tags: When you draw a tag call us to book your hunt. Lodging will
depend on what part of the state we will be hunting as well as hunter
preference.
Turkey Hunting: The Turkey season is April and May (SPRING). The
spring turkey season is an excellent hunt with many mature birds. The
Fall hunt is held October/November.
Duck
& Goose Hunting:
November is also a very good time to hunt migrating mallards. This hunt
is a Duck/Goose combination hunt on private ground in cornfields. There
are also some hunts over water.
