Jagermister Outfitters is a family owned and operated guide service. We are located in South Eastern, Iowa in Iowa's famous Amana Colonies. We are located 15 miles west of Iowa City, Iowa and 18 miles south west of Cedar Rapids. We provide a quality one on one hunting experience for whitetail deer. Eastern wild turkey and waterfowl. All our hunting packages include lodging and we offer a 5 day whitetail deer hunt. starting at $850 per person.

Deer Hunting - Archery: We offer semi-guided whitetail deer hunts in South Eastern Iowa. All hunts are fair chase on leased or public land. We hunt in Iowa, Benton, Johnson and Linn Counties. The counties are located in hunting zone #7. We book only 8 archery hunters per year.

There is very little hunting pressure on our deer during the archery season. It runs from Oct 1 - early December and reopens mid-December - mid January. The early part of the season runs through the pre-rut - rut periods.

There are many outstanding bucks harvested in this part of the state due to the abundant food sources and outstanding habitat. 140+ class bucks are not at all uncommon. We hunt from tree-stands and/or ground blinds.

Deer Hunting - Firearms: We offer a very limited number of gun hunts, please call for availability.
The state of Iowa begins accepting nonresident applications in May. There is a limited number of tags available for Zone #7. We offer 3.5 and 7 day hunt packages, lodging included. We will customize this hunt to your style and needs.

Spring Turkey Hunting: This is fast becoming one of the greatest hunting opportunities in Iowa. The number and quality of birds is amazing. 100% success rate on spring guided hunts the past 6 years. We hunt on over 15,000 acres of land. All hunts are fully guided. Season runs mid April - mid May. The state begins accepting nonresident applications in January. We offer 1/2 day and 3 day hunt packages, lodging included. Please contact for pricing.

Waterfowl Hunting: We offer fully guided Canadian Goose Hunts as well as Spring Snow Goose Hunts. All hunts are field type hunts, over large decoy spreads. Our spring snow goose hunts are unbelievable. 20 bird daily limit. E-callers - unplugged guns. Please contact us for additional information.

Accommodations: All lodging is provided in my home, in my newly remodeled basement. Comfortable beds and a relaxing atmosphere are guaranteed. For and additional fee, we can make arrangements for you in one of the 3 local hotels or at an area Bed & Breakfast.

Children under 12 hunt free with an Adult.
