Nestled along the nostalgic Neosho River in southeast Kansas, our family-owned and operated lodge has instilled thousands of memories for outdoorsmen both young and old. Inspired hunters step out each morning onto more than 15,000 acres of our unspoiled grain fields, bottomland, pastures, and marsh. Waterfowl Hunts: Your first impression of Lil' Toledo waterfowl hunting will be of our 750 acres of prime, managed wetlands that make up the habitat of our waterfowl program. Located in the heart of the Central fly-way, you will see that Teal Widgeon, Gadwall, Shovelers, Wood, Pintails, and Mallards all make their way through our marshes. Wind conditions, flight patterns, and decoy placement have been studied to ensure your hunting success. These private hunts include your guide, dogs, cleaning and packaging of birds, shells, transportation to and from blinds, and all required licensing. All state limits & regulations apply. Upland Game Hunts: Lil' Toledo's licensed guides will lead you through our native prairie lands in search of pheasant. This package includes our "No bird- Limit", hat & cooler, expert guides, dogs, licensing, shells, cleaning & packaging of birds, lunch, & transportation to & from our hunting fields consisting of over 7,000 acres. Half day, full day, guided or semi-guided hunts are available. Our professionally licensed guides and pro-trained dogs will work to ensure a successful trip on the field. You will see how we came to receive the Orvis Endorsed Wingshooting Lodge of the year.

Turkey Hunting:

First Time Turkey: Let us take you through the basics: Turkey hunting safety, the right gear, turkey habits, field tips, and simple calling techniques, followed by a guided trip to the field.

Long Beard Stalker: For the seasoned turkey hunter with calling experience, our guides can put you on roosted birds and let you test your skill. The turkeys are here... the challenge is yours!

Shotgunners, whether "modern" or "muzzle loading", can tune-up on our 20-station sporting clays course. Archery hunters are always welcome!

Note: "Top Tom" for our 2003 season was 32 lbs... with all hunters filling tags!

Whitetail Deer Packages: customized per your needs. Whether muzzle loading, archery, or rifle, the professionals at Lil' Toledo Lodge are dedicated to make you Whitetail hunt a success.

Muzzle Loading: The modern or primitive hunter will find the "early season" a real treat. Stands are placed with the muzzle loading range in mind. Primitive hunts tailored to the "Buck skinner" or the "Re-enactor" are also available at Lil' Toledo. Let us know your needs, and we will provide the most memorable hunt for you!


Archery Hunts: Grain fields surrounded by hedge fields produce natural travel ways that are the perfect set-up for archery hunting. We locate our stands to ensure bow hunting success! The late fall hunter will find Bucks in Full Rut. Hot scrapes and rubs will be located, Deer will be patterned - all to bring the dream of a Trophy Whitetail nearer to reality. Compound Bow hunters and traditional archers call now, so we can help you plan the hunt of a lifetime. (Crossbow Hunting by Special Permit Only.)


Firearms Rifle & Handgun: Located on the banks of the scenic Neosho River, Lil Toledo's dedication to excellence can be seen at first arrival. This same mark of excellence is carried throughout your hunting experience. Competent, friendly guides will assist you from "sighting-in 'til sunset". Our pre-season scouting and stand placement will ensure you that your Whitetail hunting experience will carry the banner of Lil' Toledo excellence. (Family hunts welcome.)


Packaging Includes: guides, luxury private lodging with full service meals, beverages, refreshments, and use of Club House facilities: video games, card games, television, etc...

Non Hunters: experience the great outdoors through activities such as nature trail hikes, canoeing, photography, bird watching, horseback trail rides, canoeing, and games of horseshoes and volleyball. Golf, tennis, and swimming are available at a nearby country club.


Lodging: Many hunters find that just one day in the field or a day in the stand just isn't enough. Lil' Toledo offers first class lodging. Our 6,000 sq. ft. private five star sleeping quarters offer private bathrooms in each room, full service kitchen/bar, & fireplace overlooking the Neosho River for all guests to enjoy. We also offer other private lodging quarters.
