Hunting in North Carolina for Duck, Upland Bird, Turkey,
Geese and Whitetail Deer

Feather Creek Farms Hunting Preserve is an established hunting preserve based in Pitt County, North Carolina. We are excited to share our personally designed hunting grounds with you, in hopes that Feather Creek Farms becomes your favorite place to hunt in the Southeast.

Hunts Offered: Mallard and Wild Duck, Upland Bird, Eastern Wild Turkey, Canadian Geese and Whitetail Deer.

Preserve Mallard Hunting: Our Duck Hunt takes you on almost a 2-mile boat ride to and from large comfortable blinds where Mallards fly hard and fast. The ultimate in wing shooting satisfaction.

Wild Duck Hunting: Open Water Boat Blind Sea Duck Hunting and Swamp/Marsh Puddle Duck Hunts. We have several swamps, creeks and ponds that are frequented by a wide variety of duck species. We also offer river and big water duck hunts with a licensed captain. There was a good crop of Sea Scoters this last season.

Upland Bird Hunting: In addition to our ducks, we have 3 separate farms within the Preserve filled with acres of milo, corn, thinned pine lots and native grass stands for your hunting enjoyment - much more than you can hunt in a day. We are experimenting with early release quail to enhance the spontaneity of your hunt. Also being offered, is our traditional Tower Pheasant Shoot with a new twist - great for corporate or just a group of friends! 10 Hunters, 10 Stations, 10 Birds per Hunter

Turkey Hunting:
Experience the sunrise gobble of an Eastern Wild Turkey Southern style. The same acreage managed for deer hunting is closely guarded for our sizeable and growing turkey population. During the winter its not uncommon to see
40 - 60 birds in a flock. Very limited number of hunts, so book early. NC State Hunting License required.

Geese Hunting:
Don't just think Doves in September, think Geese! Eastern NC has a substantial resident Canadian Goose population. We normally have a September season in and around Pitt County. NC State & Federal Waterfowl laws apply.

Whitetail Deer Hunting: With over 3000 contiguous acres and an extensive food plot and supplemental year round feeding program, we are growing a healthy well-balanced deer herd. There will be a size minimum for buck harvest as well as specified number of does allowed to be harvested.

In addition to the trophy managed acreage in Pitt County, we have several 150 to 500 acre parcels in the surrounding counties available for deer hunting
