Rifle Elk Hunting in New Mexico: Here in Unit 4 (Elk Central) of Northern New Mexico we have a unique situation - The public never gets to hunt elk (except on a few limited entry state owned lands). All private land elk permits are issued to the landowners, which are transferred to their outfitter, and then to the hunting clients. Really, it’s a great system, as the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish regulates the harvest by making the landowner permits very limited. Our season runs from early October through January.



South African Safari in 2008: In June/July of 2008 I plan to escort some hunting client friends on their first African safari. The PH/Outfitter I use to provide this service is a close personal friend. He has guided Colleen, myself and all four of our children on five various safaris since the late ‘90s. Our family has hunted on 5 continents and of all these experiences, we enjoyed our South African safaris the most. It is a magical experience, with the wealth of African wildlife and being with wonderful people. In June and July of 2008, I will escort those of you who would like to hunt in beautiful South Africa.

Hunting in New Zealand: Hunt New Zealand with Ray I will be outfitting for Red Stags, Chamois and Himalayan Tahr in March. I will be taking several of my premier Elk clients on this initial expedition. We will be hunting on the scenic south island. I will have more information in our summer brochure.
