Ohio Flint Ridge Outfitters is hosted and run by Scott and Jennifer Bare. We are both longtime hunters and lovers of the outdoors. We hunt on over 4,000 acres of private land in Muskingum and Licking counties in east central Ohio. We have a mixture of farm country and big timber. We hang stands and put up ground blinds in August so we don't disturb our properties closer to season. We also have several food plots planted to hold Deer on our farms. Corn, soybeans, and alfalfa are the most common crops planted on our properties. Most of our stands will be between 18 to 22 ft high, and are set in travel routes, food areas, and funnel-type areas. We try to keep you comfortable for those all-day sits during the rut.


Hunting Areas: We have property in Licking, Muskingum, and Coshocton Counties. These counties have produced the bulk of the trophy deer taken here in Ohio; Muskingum and Licking being the #1 and #2 with Coshocton being a sleeper for a trophy buck. The terrain will be anything from gently rolling land to steep ridges and valleys. Some farms will be heavily agricultured and some will be all timber. Most timber properties will have some sort of food plot to concentrate the deer and hold them on our farms. Farms will range in size from 40 acres to 600 acres. All farms are privately owned and managed by us. We are located in East Central Ohio, approximately 45 minutes east of Columbus.

Deer Hunts: hunts begin the last 2 weeks of October and run thru November. Late season packages and a limited amount of gun and muzzleloader are available. Only Trophy Deer are to be taken, 125"+ gross. Fine is imposed for shooting a small or button Buck. Hunt is over when hunter draws blood, whether or not Deer is recovered. We hunt 100% fair chase, 100% wild Deer. This hunt is for the serious hunter who does not mind putting the time in at the tree stand for a possible opportunity to take a Trophy Buck. Safety belts are required for tree stands; homemade belts are not permitted.




Turkey Hunts: We offer a limited amount of Turkey hunts. The season typically starts the last week of April and runs through the third week of May. Hunting is from daylight until 12 noon each day. Our Turkey hunts are fully guided, with a three day minimum. The price includes lodging, a guide, and transportation. A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at booking, and the remainder is due at the time of hunt.
