Your Outfitter & Designated Agent: Dale Denney, was  raised hunting the mountains of Northeast Washington. In 1977 he began outfitting and has slowly expanded the business over the years. Hunting is a full-time business, not just a sideline. Dale and his wife Tara offer affordable hunts in 4 western states with one of the largest selections of hunting options available in the industry. They have outfitted hunters from around the world, of all ages and back- grounds. Regardless of your age, hunting experience, or physical limitations, they have a hunt suitable for you!

Bull Elk Hunting: Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Washington offer excellent bull elk hunting opportunities, good bull to cow ratios, and good percentages of mature adult bulls. With over the counter "guaranteed" elk licenses available, you do not have to draw a tag to go elk hunting. Success in most areas is very good, with past shooting opportunity many years ranging from 15% to 100% depending on the area.  If preferred, apply in a limited-draw area and if drawn enjoy nearly 100% success on mature bulls. We offer guided or unguided elk hunting options depending on where you wish to hunt. We also offer elk combo hunts with deer, antelope, or bear, ask for details.

Mule Deer Hunting: Mule Deer are one of the most sought after species in North America. Bearpaw Outfitters & Big Sky Trophy Outfitters specializes in trophy Mule Deer hunting. By hunting the best areas of Southeast Idaho, Northern Utah, and Eastern Montana we are able to offer some outstanding Mule Deer hunts with fully guided or unguided trips available. In Montana we operate only on quality private ranches. Best of all we have licenses available over the counter for most of our mule deer hunts in all four states. Mule Deer can also be combined with elk, antelope, or bear hunting.

Whitetail Deer Hunting: Bearpaw Outfitters is the exclusive outfitter on numerous prime ranches with access to nearly 10,000 acres of prime private whitetail habitat in Washington. This area is also blessed with millions of acres of public access areas that are wide open to hunting that offer some outstanding whitetail opportunities in the right spots. In Montana we hunt several large private ranches that produce excellent quality trophy whitetail bucks. Spring Bear Hunting: In Idaho we offer Spring or Fall Bear Hunts with Hounds & Bait. These are some of the most exciting and successful bear hunts available anywhere. 60% to 80% of the bear taken are off-colors (browns, cinnamons, and blondes). If you haven't hunted with dogs, you have been missing out. The excitement of hunting with a well trained group of hounds is exhilarating to say the least. From the time the dogs strike a trail and are released until they tree or bay up the bear on the ground, it is pure excitement. You can also experience the thrill of hunting bear at close range over bait. Hunters usually have a good chance to size up a bear while deciding whether or not to shoot. This is an excellent opportunity for bow hunters due to the close proximity of the bear.

Fall Bear Hunting: Washington has the most bear of the southern 48 states (over 30,000) and our area usually has the biggest harvest in the state. This is a bear hunter's paradise, plus the hunt is a real challenge to the hunter since we do not use dogs or bait in Washington. This is truly a fair chase and exciting bear hunt, we glass the berry patches and hunt by spot and stalk, much like mule deer hunting. Its just you and your guide against the bear and we have a very high success rate (70%-80% shooting) most years.

Antelope Hunting:  We offer excellent hunting opportunities for antelope on private eastern Montana ranches. Shooting has been 100% and the antelope average nearly 15" on our better ranches. Archery licenses are unlimited and success for the rifle drawings  has been as high as 90% in some units. Antelope hunts can be combined with Whitetail, Mule Deer, or even Elk if desired. Antelope are a super fun, highly successful, and exciting hunt for anyone. Best of all, you usually see plenty of game on these hunts to keep it really exciting.

Cow Elk Hunting: Utah has excellent cow elk hunting, our hunters usually experience 80% to 100% shooting opportunity on the Utah cow elk hunts and can even take two cows if desired. This hunt is perfect for anyone because it's not too strenuous and its a lot of fun because we see so much game. Utah cow elk hunts can also be combined with cougar or waterfowl hunting. Idaho also offers cow elk hunting which can be combined with mule deer buck hunting for an excellent big game combo hunt. Cow elk are usually much better eating than bulls, plus the success rate is much higher than most bull elk hunts. A lot of hunters prefer cow elk hunts rather than bull hunts.

Cougar Hunting: With 28 years of experience outfitting cougar hunts and with hundreds of cougar caught, Bearpaw Outfitters is undisputedly one of the most successful cougar outfitters in the west. We have produced dozens of record class cats for past hunters including two state record and a world record cat on past hunts. Lion hunting is not just a winter sideline for us, it's a passion, an obsession, it's serious business, and it's also one of the biggest thrills in hunting for anyone. Grouse and Upland Bird hunting in the best areas of Washington, Idaho, and Utah for Ruffed Grouse, Blue Grouse, Franklin Grouse, Sage Grouse, Pheasant, Chuckar, Doves, Huns, and Quail. We offer exciting hunts for a variety of birds. We can tailor hunts to suit your needs and can even combo upland bird hunts with big game or waterfowl hunting.

Merriam's Turkey: Hunt Washington's top producing turkey area, with Washington's most experienced and successful Turkey guides. Northeast Washington is the turkey capitol of Washington, now producing over 75% of all turkeys taken in the entire state. Bearpaw Outfitters knows the birds and the country better than anyone else. We have nearly 10,000 acres of private access and we know the best public land areas. We kill birds nearly every day of the season, in fact our clients have tagged over 500 turkeys during the last 7 seasons. Spring hunts are for 2 bearded birds. Fall hunts are for 1 either-sex bird and can be combined with Grouse, Bear, or Deer.

Waterfowl Hunting: We offer waterfowl hunting in Utah & Washington. Canada Geese and Ducks provide the hunters with exciting shooting from blinds or by jump shooting on streams and small lakes. Waterfowl can also be added to several different big game hunts or Upland bird hunts for even more excitement.

Washington Bighorn Sheep Hunting: Bighorn Sheep hunting is a once-in-a-lifetime experience with all licenses issued through a special draw in Washington. BearPaw Outfitters has had 100% success on past sheep hunts and strives to get each hunter the very best ram on the mountain. Remember to apply for permits each year.

Shiras Moose Hunting: We offer premium Shiras Moose hunts in Idaho, Washington, and Utah at an affordable price. Our years of moose hunting experience assure your success on the best animal possible. We know the country and we know the moose. Smart hunters know that combination is what you need for high success on quality animals. Draw odds in some areas have been as high as 40% chance to draw.

Meals, Lodging, and Travel: On fully guided trips Bearpaw Outfitters will provide meals, lodging, and travel after you have arrived at our premises and begin your trip, until your trip is over or you leave our premises. On semi guided trips (with more than two hunters per guide) and unguided trips, you may need to provide some of your own transportation during your trip. Drop camps do not include meals, you need to bring your own food. Bearpaw Outfitters accommodations: include a comfortable main base lodge and guest cabins, or wall-tent camps, and of course tasty cooked meals, experienced guides, and expert trophy care. Big Sky Trophy Outfitters hunts in Montana are conducted as "Town Hunts" we do not include the lodging and meals, you will stay at a local motel and we pick you up each morning. Regardless of circumstances, all other meals, lodging, travel, and any other associated expenses before your arrival or after your departure are your responsibility.

Deposits: Trips are "Booked" when a 50% non-refundable "Deposit" and "Hunt Application" have been received and accepted. Trip dates can also be "Reserved" when a 10% re-fundable deposit is received and a limited-draw license application has been submitted in a limited-draw. Bookings made less than 30 days before the trip begins must be paid in full to book the trip.

Payment Plans:  Simply go to our website, print out, fill in, and send us the "Payment Plan Application". Trip dates can be "Reserved" when a 10% non-refundable deposit and a completed "Payment Plan Application" have been received and accepted. Trips must be paid in full 30 days or more prior to the scheduled arrival date or will be considered cancelled.
