Turkey Hunting & Whitetail Deer Hunting
For Trophy Buck On The Mississippi River In Wisconsin

Buffalo County Buck Connection is a hunting outfitter that specializes in providing semi-guided hunts for trophy whitetail deer. We also offer Spring turkey hunting. Buffalo County is located in Wisconsin along the upper Mississippi River. After many years of Quality Deer Management, it has earned a well deserved reputation for producing trophy bucks. It is recognized as one of the best trophy areas in the country



Semi-Guided Hunts:

During the September - December seasons, we offer semi-guided hunts. You will be hunting wild deer in their natural habitat on 1,300 acres of privately owned land in a Quality Deer Management area.

There are a limited number of hunters taken on the land each year. The land is not overcrowded and late season hunting is excellent.

Your hunting package will include the hunt, lodging, all meals and tree stands. Follow the links on the left for more information!


Lodging: You will stay in a comfortable and dry cabin including refrigerator, stove, heat...equipped with everything you need to enjoy your hunt with us! Food is included as part of your package. A home cooked dinner will be served nightly. Food for a make-your-own breakfast and make-your-own sack lunch will also be provided.



Land: The land consists of 1,300 acres of privately owned land in the heart of Buffalo County. It offers many different types of rough terrain including: bluffs, ridges, valleys, coulees, thick and thin woods, and open fields. The woods to open field ratio is approximately 70 percent woods to 30 percent open fields, offering a variety of ways to hunt trophy bucks.

The late season hunting is excellent. Each year, 10 acre food plots are left unharvested attracting many deer. The crops that are harvested during the year are a combination of corn, alfalfa, oats, and soybeans. There are seven man-made ponds on the land that attract a variety of wildlife, including many trophy buck

Policies:

  • Hunters must purchase their own tags.
  • Limited number of hunters taken per hunt.
  • No alcoholic beverages or drugs allowed.
  • ATV's will be used by Buffalo County Buck Connection mgmt only
  • Buffalo County Buck Connection is not responsible for any accident, injury or theft.
  • In compliance with Quality Deer Management, only trophy class animals will be taken. Bucks must be at least 8 pts with a 16" spread or 2 1/2 years old. There will be a $250 fee for non-trophy animals taken.
