Hunting in Wisconsin for Whitetail Deer

Turtle Creek Outfitters is located 90 minutes from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. We guide hunters on Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunts in Western Wisconsin. Our hunts include a semi-guided hunt, beautiful, clean lodging, one prepared evening main meal, sandwich fixings and self serve breakfast.

In the hills of western Wisconsin, at the northern edge of the Driftless Area, you’ll find the peace and quiet and Monster Bucks of your dreams. The properties include valleys, rolling hills, open fields and miles of creeks-and the Deer run up and down the creeks like a trail. Some of our Deer stands are strategically placed at the creek edge where the Deer cross; there is nothing better. The interior of one property has rarely been seen by outsiders. It’s nothing short of majestic. Turtle Creek is alive with Whitetail Deer, Bear, Coyote, Brook Trout, Turkey-and home to the 31pt Buck.

280 Pre-Rut or Rut Hunt - 4 days:
Access to 280 acres of rolling hills, farm fields, food plots, creeks and plenty of edges to hunt during pre-rut.
5 hunter limit, semi-guided, ladder stands or grounds.

1200 Pre-Rut or Rut Hunt - 5 days: Access to 1200 acres of pristine rolling hills, open fields, creek bottoms and heavy oak forests. This land has been lightly hunted, few people have ever seen the interior. This valley produced a 31pt Buck just a few years ago. Now you have a chance to hunt Giant Bucks in this beautiful place. 6 hunter limit, semi-guided, ladder or ground blinds.

Stands:
You’re welcome to bring your own climbing stands or use our ladder stands. ...no nailing into trees and no screw steps. We use ground stands and ladder stands, such as Gorilla, Grizzly, Big Game and others. Several of the stands are on the creek where the Deer cross, so it’s quite possible you’ll need to cross the creek. There’s nothing that beats hunting on the creek, with trails and a field on one side and the creek on the other side

*We do not include, but can organize, Deer processing and transportation.

*No smoking is allowed inside the retreat.

Lodging: Our accommodations are a great respite. The house was built in 1997, just above the creek, and is extremely clean. It’s located on the secluded edge of the valley and is the last place on a dead end road. Many days (and most nights) the only noises you hear are those produced by nature: the wind in the trees, coyotes, owls and a passing flock of snow geese. The house has 3 bedrooms with a total of 6 beds, 2 full bathrooms, a comfortable living room with views of the open fields and surrounding hills, dining room, and a completely equipped spacious kitchen with both counter and kitchen table seating. This is the hunting zone, a place to experience.
