Over the years we have specialized in Elk & Deer, Lion and Bear hunting and have many references. We generally hunt from pack-in camps but the hunting can be just as good from our remote base camp. Depending on which camp you choose, we have cabins or wall tents for housing. Both have wood heat with comfortable cots and foams. You will need sleeping bags, full camo in layers with a waterproof outer layer. The prices outlined above include all food lodging pick-up and return to Missoula as well as full guide service (please note full guide service does not necessarily mean your guide is with you at all times, please ask if you do not understand any information here) and caping of critters. Things not included in the price are, Gratuity for guides and cooks, 2 nights stay in Missoula (if flying with pick up), meat processing and taxidermy or shipping or hides or meat.

Over the years we have specialized in bear hunting Idaho and have many references.  Depending on your personal preference, we can have you drive right into camp or at least to the snowline, if you choose to fly we can pick you up (for fee) in Missoula MT.  We hunt from stands and blinds set up always depends on the bait and hunter weapon choice.

IDAHO LION HUNTING: Lion hunt Idaho with a top outfitter. We offer Guided Lion hunts in Idaho. Mountain Lion Hunting with us is successful and an adventure. We appreciate your interest. Because of our excellent reputation and success rates our fully guided Lion hunt spots are generally booked for the coming year by now. Call us anytime to discuss these important aspects and Lion hunting in general.  Hunts can be reserved with a phone call and priority mail personal or business check sent immediately with the $1000 deposit. We have guests fly into either Missoula MT or Spokane Washington depending on the date of the hunt and the area hunted. Lion hunts are currently $5000.00 plus tax and tags. Tax / Use is 9%. Lion and wolf combination hunts are $6500 plus tax and tags. Non Resident Hunting License and Lion tag run less than these license prices are subject to change.  Pick up and drop off in Spokane Washington is currently $200 round trip due in cash at pick up.  Hunts are 5 days of hunting and a day in and out on each end for an 7 day adventure. Our excellent record and satisfied client’s mean we book well in advance.

Rifle and Archery Elk hunts: Elk hunting in our corner of the LOLO Elk zone in Idaho has been very good these past few years. Hunting remote well scouted areas paid off for our hunters.Low tag sales numbers (lowered quotas), the wolf hunt, habitat improvement, as well as our continued yearly big kill of predatory spring bear and winter lion has produced good kill rates, nice bulls taken and lots of good bulls still on the hoof.

Guided elk hunting has NEVER been easy in this area but the right preparation, planning and hard work really pays off before and after the kill. Idaho is a great elk destination. Our Combo hunts are very varied offering the hunter a wide range of game to take.  All elk tags are guaranteed through us - no draw. WOLF HUNTING WITH RUSSELL POND AND B BAR C OUTFITTERS: Thanks for contacting us. We are looking forward to helping you plan a great wolf or wolf combo hunt. We have had many wolf sightings over the years. We are really excited about being able to offer this hunt.

Wolves are prevalent and clients see them frequently. We are already successful wolf outfitters in fact, our hunters have tagged several wolves already. Combo Lion and Wolf hunts and Wolf hunting alone will be offered in both our areas units 10 and 7.  We are hoping to fill all quotas for wolf and plan to take folks in unit 7 until end of January and in unit 10 until the end of March. Unit 10 will remain open through June and we will be offering the Wolf and Bear Combination hunt through the end of June.

We are licensed for wolf in unit 7 - Panhandle and Unit 10 Lolo Wolf Zones. There are no quotas in either areat year  - Please call to make the goal of full quota a reality.  I have been waiting 12 years for this.  It's the first legal wolf hunt in the lower 48 for around 80 years.
